Our Story

Creating Wedding Videos, Vlogs and Me

When I turned 30, I decided to take a career break and see the world. In fact, I ended up visiting 28 countries in four years, including Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Spain, Peru, Rio de Janeiro and Egypt. It was an amazing experience! The only camera I owned was a small hand-held, but I took literally thousands of pictures. It was only when I got home that I realised what a big part taking photos and videos had played in my adventures and what a passion I’d developed for digital media, so I set out to buy myself my first ‘proper’ camera.

During my time learning to be a photographer/ videographer and travelling I was also lucky enough to become a dad to two boys.

Then instead of taking pictures of wonderful places I took pictures and videos (and more pictures, and more videos) of my two wonderful boys.

It was around that time that I decided to follow my passion and Everybody Smile Photography was born.
Due to the style I adopted (documentary) I soon started getting request for a similar style in video format. At the time Videography was not as popular as photography so the market place was full of very traditional style videography so it was hard for me to recommend anyone. That’s when Vlog My Wedding was created, I wanted to be able to offer wedding videos in the most natural of format and nothing seemed more natural than getting your guests to film it. They have no agenda and no desire for creating polished wedding movies so pure natural memories of weddings where bound to be captured.

As a Photographer and video editor I have now been lucky enough to cover weddings around the world, Although from Warwick I actually do very little weddings in Warwick or Leamington Spa, most weekends I am doing Wedding photography in counties such as Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, West Midlands and London, I am also lucky enough to get a few destination weddings each year.
